ATMPA Properties:

ATMPA (6419-19-8) features fantastic chelating capability, very low limit inhibition and lattice distortion capability. It could stop the development of scale salt inside the water, specially the formation of calcium carbonate scale. ATMPA has got excellent chemical stability and is tough to be hydrolyzed in water. When the water content level is higher, it shows an outstanding corrosion inhibition effect.

The ATMPA solid is normally crystal powder, soluble in water. It is also very easily deliquescence, appropriate for usage in winter and freezing areas. Because of the high purity, it can be used in woven & dyeing industries and also as steel surface treatment agent.

ATMPA (cas 6419-19-8)is required in industrial circulating cold water system and oil field water pipeline in fields of heat power plant and oil refinery factory. ATMPA is often used together with organophosphonic acid, poly carboxylic acid and salt to built all organic alkaline water treatment chemical. ATMPA (cas6419198) works extremely well in many circulating cool water process, boiler water, oil and gas field water. It is also can be used for the oil and gas pipe with high hardness, high salinity and bad water quality.

The dosage of 5-20 mg/L is suggested. As corrosion inhibitor, the amount to use of 20-60 mg/L is usually recommended.
