The basic types of papermaking fungicides are mainly divided into two categories: inorganic fungicides and organic fungicides.

According to different action principles, inorganic fungicides can be divided into oxidized type and reduced type. The reducing bactericide has a bactericidal effect due to its reducibility. Such as sulfurous acid and its salts. Oxidizing fungicides use their oxidizing power to play a sterilizing role.

The bactericidal ability of this kind of bactericide is very strong. But it is unstable, easy to decompose, and the effect is not lasting. So it is mostly used to sterilize equipment, instruments and water. Commonly used are hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide, chloramine. In addition, the application of ozone in the paper industry has gradually attracted people’s interest.

Organic fungicides are the most used fungicides in the paper industry. Mainly used organic sulfur, organic bromine and nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds and other high-efficiency and low-toxic fungicides. The bactericide first contacts the cell membrane of the microorganism, adsorbs it, and passes through the cell membrane into the protoplasm. Then exert the drug effect in various parts.

Some bactericides can denature proteins in microorganisms, destroy the activity of cells and cause the death of microorganisms. This effect is called sterilization. Some fungicides can mutate the cell genetic genes of microorganisms or interfere with the vitality of enzymes inside the cells, making it difficult to reproduce and grow, thereby exerting an inhibitory effect on microorganisms, called bacteriostasis.

Oxidized bactericide has good sterilization effect. Works on all microorganisms. But it is non-selective. That is to say, oxidizing fungicides can not only kill living microorganisms, but also react with inactive substances such as metal pipes, containers, fibers and additives, thereby affecting production.

Non-oxidizing fungicides include isothiazolinone and its derivatives, organic bromine compounds, amine compounds and phenol compounds, etc., which have good selectivity.

Papermaking antifungal agent 4719 04 4 is suitable for the antibacterial and antifungal of papermaking coatings, and is suitable for the production of papermaking industry.

This product can be added at the stage of production coating. But in order to ensure the best dispersion effect, it is recommended to join the production process early. The use concentration is 0.1 to 4.5%, and the amount added depends on the performance and use environment of the paper industry products.

The paper mildew inhibitor produced by our company can be used as an additive in papermaking coatings to prevent the mildewing of papermaking products during use, and has the effect of antifungal.
