IR-3100 carboxylate-sulfonate nonionic terpolymer is a good scale inhibitor and dispersant for cool water treatment. IR-3100 has good inhibition for dry or hydrated ferric oxide. IR-3100 carboxylate-sulfonate nonionic terpolymer (similar to ACUMER 3100) is an all-organic dispersant and scale inhibitor. It can also be used as a stabilizer of phosphate and phosphinic salt corrosion inhibitors. (similiar to RohmHaas ACUMER 3100)

IR-3100 carboxylate-sulfonate nonionic terpolymer can be used as a scale inhibitor for circulating cool water and boiler water, phosphate, zinc ion, and ferric. When IR-3100 is used alone, 10~30 mg/L is preferred. When used in other fields, the dosage should be determined by experiment.

This carboxylate-sulfonate nonionic terpolymer can maintain excellent heat transfer through its exceptional dispersancy. In addition, IR-3100 will help corrosion inhibition by controlling the film formation of the organic corrosion inhibitors onto metal surfaces.
