ONYXIDE 200 Preservative

Product Info:

ONYXIDE 200 preservative is a very active bacteriocide as well as fungistat. And also it is a preservative chemical. This preservative is mostly used in metalworking reducing liquids, gas and boring oil muds and packer fluids, oil field drilling, completion, and fracturing liquids. You can also see it in commercial adhesives, emulsions, and inks (non-food usage).

Properties:

ONYXIDE 200 preservative is miscible with soft and hard water (400 ppm CaCO3) in all proportions, along with alcohol and acetone in all percentages.

This product is insoluble in ether, benzene, oil, and chloroform. Therefore, at the suggested usage, ONYXIDE 200 preservatives will not increase the corrosion of metal compounds.

ONYXIDE 200 is compatible with various other cationic and nonionic, at the correct pH range of 8~12. However, this product will certainly lose the activity listed below pH 5.0. And likewise in the visibility of hydrogen peroxide at pH > 10.

Non-hazard Chemical. Shelf life is two years from the date of manufacture. Therefore, extended contact with brass, copper, aluminum piping, containers, or tools must be prevented.

Safety and hazard:

ONYXIDE 200 is slightly toxic by mouth (LD50>763 g/kg), and dermally (LD50>2 g/kg) creates small skin irritation and is corrosive to the eye. The item is not mutagenic.

Handwear covers, protective clothing, safety and security goggles, and face guards should be used when handling ONYXIDE 200 taking care of preservatives. Stay clear of contact with the eyes, nose, or prolonged skin call. Laundry extensively after handling the product.
