Properties:

Sodium mercaptobenzothiazole can be the copper corrosion inhibitor in the circulating cool water system. The mechanism is due to the chemical absorption of MBT-Na on the copper surface. Or a chelation reaction between them. The dosage of 4 mg/L is preferred. Sodium mercaptobenzothiazole can also be used as a plasticizer and photometer for acid copper plating.
